Blackberry BBQ Ribs

Looking to impress at your next cookout? These Blackberry BBQ Ribs are sweet, smoky, and straight-up unforgettable. Using a bold marinade packed with fruit, spice, and a hint of coffee, these ribs take a slow approach to flavor—but trust us, they’re worth every minute.

Ingredients:

  • 2 bottles Tiger Sauce

  • 36 oz blackberry jam or jelly

  • ½ cup brewed coffee

  • ½ cup soy sauce

  • 2 Tbsp vanilla

  • 2 Tbsp Tee’s Original Smoke

  • 1 lb brown sugar

Blackberry BBQ Sauce (for basting):

Mix 4 oz of the marinade with a 20 oz bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (like Jack Daniel’s) for a quick, tangy glaze.

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the ribs: Mix all marinade ingredients thoroughly and coat your ribs generously. Store in the fridge overnight—or ideally, for up to 5 days for max flavor.

  2. Smoke & Roast (3-2-1 method):

    • Smoke ribs at 225°F for 3 hours.

    • Wrap in foil and roast in the oven at 325°F for 2 hours.

    • Unwrap, baste with Blackberry BBQ Sauce, and finish on the grill (or oven at 300°F) for 1 hour.

  3. Check for doneness by gently pulling on a rib bone. Want fall-off-the-bone tender? Keep cooking until the meat gives easily.

Why we love it:
The combo of fruit-forward sweetness and Tee’s smoky backbone makes this a flavor bomb worth repeating. Serve with grilled corn and a cold drink—you’re golden.
