Pulled Smoked Ham BBQ with Cherry Glaze

Ready for your new favorite showstopper? This smoked ham BBQ is savory, sticky-sweet, and packed with layers of flavor from Tee’s Applewood Chipotle BBQ and a fruity glaze that caramelizes beautifully on the smoker.

Ingredients:

  • Bone-in ham

  • Tee’s BBQ Seasoning (Applewood Chipotle or Original Smoke)

For the glaze:

  • 2.5 sticks of butter

  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire

  • Cherry jam

  • Apricot jam

  • Pineapple jam

  • Orange peel + splash of OJ

  • Extra Tee’s BBQ seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Season + smoke: Rub ham generously with Tee’s and place in the smoker at 250°F. Cook uncovered for about 8.5 hours, or until it hits 165°F internal.

  2. Wrap & steam: Wrap in foil with a splash of water and apple juice. Continue cooking at 275°F until the internal temp hits 203°F (about 4 more hours).

  3. Rest + glaze: Let the ham rest (still wrapped) for 1 hour. During that time, mix glaze ingredients in a foil pan and warm on the smoker.

  4. Pull & finish: Shred the ham and toss it with the warm glaze. Serve on brioche buns or straight off the tray. It’s that good.

Pro tip: That cherry-apricot-pineapple combo hits like BBQ candy. You’ll want to save some glaze for dipping, trust us.
