This recipe combines two powerhouse blends from Tee’s Seasonings—Original Smoke and Applewood Chipotle BBQ—to create a bold, smoky flavor with a kick of sweet heat. Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs, deboned but skin-on

  • Olive oil

  • Tee’s Original Smoke Seasoning

  • Tee’s Applewood Chipotle BBQ Seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Start by deboning the chicken thighs, keeping the skin intact for that delicious crispy finish.

  2. Drizzle generously with olive oil and coat with Tee’s Original Smoke.

  3. Let them rest at room temperature for about an hour—this helps lock in flavor and ensures juicy, evenly cooked meat.

  4. Choose Your Method:

    1. To Grill: Preheat to 400°F. Once hot, reduce the heat to medium-low. Place the thighs skin-side down and cook for 5–7 minutes.

    2. To Pan-Fry:
      Heat a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, and place the chicken skin-side down. Cook for 5–7 minutes.

  5. Flip the thighs over and season the crispy skin with Tee’s Applewood Chipotle BBQ. Cook another 5–7 minutes until the internal temp hits 165°.

  6. Flip once more and season the other side with Applewood Chipotle BBQ. Cook an additional 1 minute per side.

  7. Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for 10 minutes. This helps redistribute the juices and keeps every bite tender.
