Smoky Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts

You know those appetizers that disappear the second they hit the table? Yeah—this is one of them. These Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts are crispy, smoky, salty, and just a little sweet. Basically, snack perfection.

We took this classic recipe and gave it the Tee’s treatment with Smoke Extreme—a bold, spicy blend that packs a kick without overpowering. It turns regular bacon into flavor fireworks. 🌶️🔥

What You’ll Need

  • 4 cans of whole water chestnuts, drained

  • 1 lb bacon, sliced and cut in half lengthwise

  • 1 Tbsp Smoke Extreme

  • ½ cup sweet soy sauce

  • ¼ cup regular soy sauce

  • ¼ cup water

How To Make Them

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.

  2. In a bowl, mix together the sweet soy, soy sauce, and water.

  3. Season both sides of each piece of bacon with Smoke Extreme.

  4. Wrap each water chestnut with a strip of seasoned bacon.

  5. Dip the whole thing into the soy mixture, then place on a greased baking sheet (seam-side down).

  6. Bake until the bacon is crisp and golden brown—about 25–30 minutes.

Line your baking sheet with foil or parchment for easy cleanup. And if you like things extra spicy, hit 'em with another dash of Smoke Extreme before serving. Serve ‘em hot and watch them disappear.
